BONE TALK
If you sit like a camel,
All humpy & slack,
You never will have,
A nice straight-looking back.
On your chair if you wriggle,
You surely will fall,
Like poor Humpty Dumpty,
Who fell off the wall.
If astride your chair,
Then you might as well be,
On a galloping horse,
Trying to be a jockey.
If you bend down so low-
That's a terrible pose,
And you will end up my dear,
Wearing specks on your nose.
So, always remember,
Although you are small,
Your backbone needs kindness-
So sit straight and tall.
All humpy & slack,
You never will have,
A nice straight-looking back.
On your chair if you wriggle,
You surely will fall,
Like poor Humpty Dumpty,
Who fell off the wall.
If astride your chair,
Then you might as well be,
On a galloping horse,

If you bend down so low-

And you will end up my dear,

So, always remember,
Although you are small,
Your backbone needs kindness-
So sit straight and tall.

Quotable Quotes
1. A Truth that is told with bad intent, beats all the lies you can invent.
2. The only place where success comes before work is in a dictionary.
3. Knowledge is the most democratic source of power.
4. The people who risk nothing, do nothing, have nothing, are nothing.
5. Fortune sides with him who dares.
6. None preaches better than the ant, and she says nothing.
7. The value of an idea lies in the using of it.
8. The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.
9. Education is the soul of a society as it passes from one generation to another.
10. Words that donot match deeds are unimportant.
11. The living need charity more than the dead.
12. When spiderwebs unite; they can tie up a lion.
13. Not to know is bad. Not to wish to know is worse.
14. Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire.
15. Action without thought is like shooting without aim.
16. It is easier to start something than it is to finish it.
17. Talent win games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.
18. Vision is the art of seeing things invisible.
19. Charity is the virtue of the heart, and not of hands.
20. The best way out of difficulty is, through it.
21. More you work in peace, less you bleed in war.
22. He who does not hope to win has already lost.
23. The future just never happened; it was created.
24. A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.
25. Evil often triumps but never conquers.

TREES
The following poem is taken from Annual school magazine VISHWADEEP Vol--12 Session 2006-07.
Trees are things of beauty
To protect them is our duty.
They give us vegetables, wood and fruits
We also use their leaves, bark and roots.
They give us heavy rain
Which help farmers to grow much grain.
They give the tired travellers shade
And on their branches nests are made.
Some grow on sands, some even on ice and snow
How this happens, I donot know.
The trees will live long, I'm sure
Unless man converts them all into pieces for show.
